Early Life and Education
Brooks Koepka was born on May 3, 1990 in West Palm Beach, Florida and was brought up in Lake Worth. He has a younger brother named Chase who also plays professional golf. As a teen, Koepka went to the Roman Catholic college preparatory Cardinal Newman High School. He went on to attend Florida State University, where he excelled as a college golfer by winning three events and earning three All-American titles.

Koepka went professional in the summer of 2012 and started playing on the European Challenge Tour. In September, he won his first title at the Challenge de Catalunya.
