Byron Buxton MLB career and news
Buxton signed a contract with the Twins, which included a $6 million signing bonus, on 12 June 2012.
He won both the Baseball America Minor League Player of the Year Award and the Topps Minor League Player of the Year Award winner.
Buxton started as the Twins’ starting center fielder in the 2016 season. He .156 batted in 17 games while striking out in 53% of his at-bats.
