Ken Shamrock is an American professional wrestler, and retired mixed martial artist which has an estimated net worth of $1.5 million.
Ken Shamrock's humble beginnings started when he joined Lassen High School's wrestling team. He chose wrestling over football, when he got a chance to tryout but he declined.
He pursue a professional career in the world of wrestling in 1989, debuted at South Atlantic Pro Wrestling. Then, he switched from being a wrestler to mixed martial artist when he transferred to Japan as he joined the Fujiwara Gumi.
During his stint from the said organization, he met Masakatsu Funaki and Minoru Suzuki. They founded a promotion called Pancrase Hybrid Wrestling in 1993, and won the King of Pancrase.
Shamrock was also known in Ultimate Fighting Championship as The World's Most Dangerous Man. And with his successful tenures in World Wrestling Federation and Total Nonstop Action, he became one-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, one-time WWF Intercontinental Champion, one-time WWF Tag Team Champion, and the 1998 WWF King of the Ring.
